Lilyliudesigns Studio is Lily Liu's new ceramicist/fiber artist studio/gallery space. It features beautiful fabric sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, up-cycled clothing and more.

Lily Liu earned her MFA in Crafts from Kent State University, Ohio and a BFA in Ceramics and a BA in Psychology from the University of Manitoba, Manitoba Canada. She was an Artist-in-Residency at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Textile program in New Bedford Massachusetts, a full-time faculty at Emporia State University in Emporia Kansas, and a part-time instructor at Paducah School of Art in Paducah Kentucky. She has taught introduction to ceramics, fiber arts, and felt-making workshops at the university, art center and communities of where she lives. Both of her ceramics and fiber work has been exhibited nationally.

Lily Liu and husband John Hasegawa teach ceramics at Paducah School of Art & Design, but Lily has become known for her remarkable fiber techniques. Her intricate sculptures and jewelry pieces are fashioned by folding, rolling and tying hundreds of fabric pieces together. “Making every minute count” inspires her to be a productive artist.
